The Michael Vick Comedy Explosion tour comes to Shreveport this Saturday night and animal rights protesters might have some company.

Local Attorney Dan Keele tells KEEL News he has learned from local Minister Dr. Artis Cash that some former members of the Bloods and Crips street gangs are planning to come together to show support for Vick.

Keele says he has no idea yet how many people will show up to protest against the Vick Comedy Show, but hundreds of visitors to the protest Facebook page says they will attend.

Dr. Cash of the Shreveport Christian Church tells KEEL news he has received numerous calls from local residents who believe "Michael Vick has paid his price to society and we should forgive him".

In the meantime, Vick is expected to be in town on Friday to meet with local football players at Independence Stadium.
