Silent Disco

Dance like no one is watching and no one without headphones can hear! It’s the Shreveport Regional Arts Council’s Silent Night, Silent Disco at artspace, a chance to giggle at others while dancing to your own beat. Rotate between four DJ channels and in between beats, sip beverages from PepitoXO.
When: Friday, Dec. 15 at 9 pm.

Friday Night Freakout

One of the best Christmas action movies of them all- Lethal Weapon- is Robinson Film Center’s Friday Night Freakout this week. Get in the spirit with Jingle Bell Rock and then Danny Glover and Mel Gibson take you on a wild ride for bad guys. Be sure to pick up a themed cocktail or order in at Abby Singer’s Bistro.

Sci-Port Wonka Winter

Hold your breath. Make a wish. It’s time for Wonka Winter with Santa at Sci-Port. It will be a day of holiday magic with SnoPort, the new Willy Wonka movie on IMAX, a photo op with Santa, hot cocoa, Christmas cookies and more. Both children and adults will enjoy a day of play.

Merry Tuba Christmas

Who doesn’t think of tubas at Christmas? You’re right, everyone! That’s why A Merry Tuba Christmas will be so fun. Tubas and their brass cousins will fill Caddo Common Park and serenade with holiday carols. While there, peruse the art vendors, check out the food trucks and listen to tunes from a Shreveport Symphony Orchestra quartet, too.

International music sensation Goga returns to the Shreveport Aquarium for the Jingle Bell Jam. Goga’s voice takes you on a continental cruise from opera to Top 40 to Rap. Sit by the fire pit, sip a holiday craft cocktail, savor a delicious dinner and revel in the holiday spirit (and the beautiful view, too).
