Fugitive from Galveston County, Texas, Arrested at Sam’s Town Hotel
A man wanted on an armed robbery warrant out of Galveston County, Texas, is now in jail in Shreveport. Police tell KEEL News that officers were called to Sams Town's Hotel on info from the Bossier City Police Department that David Sanford of Bacliff, Texas, was staying there, and was wanted for domestic violence charges. He was believed to be armed and had stated violence toward police before, but officers were able to arrest him just after 12:30 this morning without any trouble. They also seized narcotics and cash from the hotel room. Not only was Sanford wanted in Galveston, he's also believed to be connected to an armed robbery in Sulphur, Louisiana. He's now in the Shreveport City Jail.
