Four teenagers, aged 17 and 18, were arrested Monday when deputies found them smoking pot in parked cars on River Bend Road in Haughton.

While on patrol in the 1100 block of River Bend, Bossier deputies spotted two suspicious vehicles parked on the roadway around midnight.  When the deputies made contact with the occupants, they observed a cloud of smoke and smelled the distinct and overwhelming odor of marijuana.  A search of both vehicles yielded suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and all four admitted to smoking marijuana in the vehicles.  

One of the drivers arrested was also found to be in possession of small bags of loose marijuana in both hip pockets and two marijuana roaches in his boot.   Several pills were also found in his vehicle, which were identified as Vyvanse and Venlafaxine Hydrochloride, with no prescription bottle found. 

Arrested were – each with two charges; Possession of marijuana & Possession of drug paraphernalia:

Racking up the most charges; Possession of schedule II (Vyvanse), Possession of a legend drug (Venlafaxine Hydrochloride), Possession of marijuana & Possession of drug paraphernalia is: 

Zachary A. Calhoun, 18, of the 1900 block of Bermuda Street in Shreveport

All were transported to the Bossier Maximum Correctional Facility with bonds set at $1,000 for Jason and Jeffrey Wade and Sears, while Calhoun’s bond is set at $8,000.
