Shreveport police have busted four men after shots were fired at a north Shreveport apartment complex. The shootings happened around 6:30 Tuesday night at the Northwood Lake apartments in the 4300 block of North Market Street.

Officers saw the men trying to run from the scene in a white four-door sedan. The driver took off leading authorities on a short high-speed chase that ended in the parking lot of the apartments.

The men jumped out of the car in ran in different directions. One suspect was caught immediately, while three others were taken in a short time later inside one of the apartments.

Officers retrieved a semi-automatic pistol from the suspect's car. Police identify the alleged shooters as Deotis Cooper, 19,  Xavier O'Neal, 18, and two boys. Each suspect has been charged with one count of illegal use of a weapon.

O'Neal was slapped with an additional charge of aggravated flight from an officer.
