A former Shreveport police officer has been arrested for a 2nd time. This time, 36 year-old Christopher McConnell is accused of malfeasance in office. This arrest is the result of an investigation into a traffic stop on Linwood in 2019.
McConnell turned himself in to Caddo Correctional Center and was released.
He was arrested for the same crime last year. That arrest happened after he was suspected of using excessive force during a traffic stop early last year.  He was terminated from the force last year.
