Former Playboy Playmate Arrested on Meth Charges in Ouachita Parish
The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office arrest records show that police took 31-year-old Valerie Denise Mason into custody this week, on felony drug charges. Mason was arrested on June 21st for Felony Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance just after 10pm.
Mason is a former Playboy Playmate, who appeared alongside Playboy founder Hugh Hefner in the TV series Girls Next Door. She was Playboy's Playmate of the Month in September of 2008, and appeared in 5 episodes of the TV show.
Arrest records show that Mason was arrested for possession of meth, though according to the arrest report, no meth was found on Mason. She was in the passenger seat of a vehicle initially pulled over for a traffic violation, and during a search the drugs were found in the passenger door panel. The police also discovered a hypodermic needle cap in the back of the vehicle. Mason and the two others in the vehicle all denied ownership of the drugs.
Mason was able to bond out of jail on Saturday afternoon.
