Former Shreveport mayoral candidates Steven Jackson and Lee O. Savage talk with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about Tuesday night's results, the campaign and if he's considering an endorsement before December's runoff election.

Both Jackson and Savage tells KEEL listeners that the overriding theme of the campaign was Shreveport citizens concern that the city is headed in the wrong direction. "There's a lot of frustration out there about a number of issues, not just one in particular" says Jackson.

Regarding the campaign, "It was positively the hardest I've ever worked in my life," said Savage. "It was an education and very enlightening. I've always been very straightforward with my answers. I found the campaign both encouraging and discouraging."
