Fire Destroys Home in Shreveport’s MLK Neighborhood
A fire Thursday morning in Shreveport destroys a home in the MLK Neighborhood. Firefighters were called to the 2000 block of Wool Street at 10:30 am for a home on fire.
Crews found the house fully engulfed in flames when they arrived on the scene. The residents were able to get out ok. 5 dogs were rescued by firefighters.
Several vehicles on the property around the house caught fire due to the intense heat from the fire. The fire was put out just after 11am Thursday morning. There were no injuries reported.
