Fight Lands School Board Member Behind Bars

Coday Johnston, a member of the DeSoto Parish School Board, was arrested Tuesday night after a disagreement with a friend turned physical. His friend, Josh Gooden filed a complaint with the sheriff's office after Johnston allegedly struck him.

Johnston was arrested and charged with misdemeanor simple battery. Johnston says he regrets the situation but he will not allow the incident to interfere with his work.
