Fatal Shooting in East Shreveport

One man has died and another was wounded in a shooting in the Anderson Island neighborhood Friday night.

Just before 10pm officers were called to the 1100 block of East Washington Street relative to a shooting. As officers arrived on the scene, they discovered two adult men wounded. They were found in the front driveway of the home. Both men were rushed to University Health. Shortly after arrival at University Health hospital, one of the victims, a 20 year old male, was pronounced deceased. The second victim, believed to be a family member of the other man was identified as 44 year old Marlvin Bradford. Bradford remains hospitalized.

Early reports indicate several shots were fired from a high powered rifle which struck the two men and several cars parked in the neighborhood. Witnesses say there was some sort of argument just before the shooting.
