Farmer’s Market Draws Huge Crowd to Downtown Shreveport

Shreveport's Farmers Market drew quite a crowd to Festival Plaza on Saturday morning.
I had a chance to hear some great music and check out lots of home grown fruits and veggies and specialty items. My goal was to find some blueberries and blackberries and I found exactly what I wanted. It's so nice to get home grown fresh berries. What amazed me the most, though, was the crowd. It was elbow to elbow for most of the morning. Some of the vendors sold out of their products. It's a special event that happens every Saturday morning and Tuesday afternoon in Shreveport.
