With the Saints training camp getting underway tomorrow, the New Orleans Saints haven't been sitting on their laurels during the off-season.  In fact, there are prognosticators who have already been predicting that 2023 will be a banner year for the Black & Gold.

Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis, who has proven over the years to be a personnel wizard, has been busy wheeling and dealing.  Of course the Saints landed former Raiders quarterback Derek Carr in the spring.

The Saints just announced they signed 5 time Pro-bowl offensive guard, Trai Turner to a deal.  Turner comes from division rival Carolina Panthers, where he was a consistent Pro Bowl selection.

But the biggest news of the day, is the return of a Saints fans favorite, Jimmy Graham.  Graham played in New Orleans for 5 years before being traded to Seattle in exchange for center Max Unger.  Graham spent the past 8 seasons divided between the Bears and the Packers.

Graham, a 5 time ProBowl selection slated 51 touchdowns as a Saint.  He just needs 3 more to break the team record.  Granted, Graham's Saints stats were racked up being the target of one of the best, most accurate quarterbacks to ever play the game in Drew Brees, but the addition of QB Derek Carr has brought an optimistic outlook at the position the Saints haven't really seen since Brees' departure.

Even with the signing of Graham, Loomis said he isn't finished yet. Loomis expressed optimism about where the team is headed, and says he feels good about the way the roster is looking.
