Donate Life Month

Tomorrow marks the start of a month-long celebration of National Donate Life Month.Hospitals throughout Louisiana will be marking the event with a thirty-day initiative to raise awareness about the critical need for individuals to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors. Many, like Shreveport's Willis-Knighton, will be holding flag-raising ceremonies for the Donate Life flag. Others will be holding donor drive initiatives and educational outreach programs. Hundreds of organ and tissue donor families from north Louisiana have been invited to attend the Donor Flag ceremony at Willis-Knighton next Tuesday morning.
