The DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office has lifted the lockdowns for one school and a daycare center while deputies were hunting for burglary suspects. Here's the latest info from the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office:

There was a temporary lock down initiated at North DeSoto Schools and the Salem Day Care Center. Those lock downs have been lifted as of now. We have identified a total of 4 suspects, 3 of which remain at large. We will continue to have an increased patrol presence in the area but have reason to believe the suspects may no longer be in the area. Anyone who sees any suspicious person or persons is still asked to contact our office at 318-872-3956.

Vehicle burglaries in DeSoto Parish have resulted in authorities placing North DeSoto High School on lockdown.  Authorities tell us that the school is on external lockdown while they search for three men believed to be involved in the burglaries. Classes are functioning as normal.

The DeSoto Parish Sheriff's office issued the following statement through their Facebook page.

We wanted to notify the public to be on the lookout for any suspicious persons in the area of Rambin Road/Old Jefferson Road/Stonewall-Preston Road this morning. We responded to North DeSoto Estates in reference to some vehicle burglaries this morning and pursued a vehicle with 3 male occupants to a residence near the Shell Station on Highway 171 in Stonewall. We deployed K9 and have apprehended one of the three suspects, but two remain at large and are possibly armed. If you see anyone in the area, please contact 9-1-1 or our office at 318-872-3956 immediately. Do not attempt to confront or apprehend any suspicious persons. Please share this status to help us get the notice out.
