Culvert Collapses in Bossier Parish

Officials in Bossier Parish are warning residents to avoid Le Oaks Drive in North Bossier Parish. According to reports, a culvert in the area has completely collapsed. The collapse took place near the Oak Creek subdivision.

Crews are on the scene working feverishly to fix the damage. The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office says it could take 2 to 4 hours to get a temporary culvert in place. In the mean time, residents are unable to enter or leave the Oak Creek subdivision.

Here is a statement from Lt. Bill Davis from the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office:

The culvert at Le Oaks Drive in north Bossier Parish is badly damaged, and the Oak Creek residents are unable to enter or leave the subdivision.  Bossier Parish Highway Department work crews say it will take at least two to three hours to get a temporary culvert in place.  Please be patient during this time.
