Shreveport City Councilman Grayson Boucher talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the Council Audit Committee's meeting Monday to study the findings of a recent independent audit of city finances.

The audit, released to the public a week ago, found a number of faulty financial practices, including having city funds in uninsured accounts and incorrect and untimely reporting of employee tax information to the state.

The report, compiled by the city's external auditor, Carr, Riggs & Ingram, found nearly thirty deficiencies in the operation of the finance department.
