Caddo Parish Wreck Injures One, Snarls Traffic

A wreck between an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck in northern Caddo Parish has sent one of the drivers to the hospital.  

Caddo sheriff's deputies say the 18-wheeler was northbound on Louisiana Highway-One around 8:30 this morning when the driver failed to yield while turning left onto Highway-Two.  That's when the southbound pickup hit the big rig.  The pickup's driver, 54-year-old Steve McKenna, Junior, of Oil City, was rushed to North Caddo Medical Center.  The big rig's driver, 51-year-old Gary David Auch, was not hurt but he was ticketed for failure to yield.
