Caddo Parish Woman Charged With Giving Alcohol to Minors
The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest of 45-year-old Dawn Elizabeth Cooper for an incident that took place on November 5th, 2023. She turned herself in, and was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on nine counts.
Greenwood resident Dawn Elizabeth Cooper is accused of providing alcohol to minors at a party, according to Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator. Based on these accusations, she has been charged with nine counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of Juveniles.
According to the release from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, Detective BreAnna Gerbine was dispatched to investigate a complaint in the 7400 Block of Golden Meadows in Greenwood. During the investigation, Detective Gerbine discovered that a party involving high school students was taking place. The authorities say that Cooper was present at the residence the party was taking place at, and that she had provided alcohol to the minors.
Based on that information, the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office obtained a warrant for Cooper's arrest. She now faces the nine charges of Contributing to the Delinquency of Juveniles.
