Indecent Behavior With a Juvenile Leads to Arrest in Caddo Parish

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a man from Frierson following an investigation into inappropriate sexual activity involving a juvenile.

35 year-old Kenneth Sousa, of Frierson was taken into custody and charged with indecent behavior with juveniles.

The investigation started when a juvenile victim told her therapist and mother that inappropriate sexual activity had occurred involving Sousa, who is a family member. Authorities were called, and the case was immediately investigated.

CPSO With the help of the Gingerbread House Children's Advocacy Center in Shreveport, the victim was given a forensic interview. Information gathered during the interview helped establish probable cause for Sousa's arrest.

"The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is committed to protecting children and thoroughly investigating all allegations of abuse. This case remains under investigation.
