Caddo Deputy Is Accused of Having Inappropriate Contact with Inmate

SHREVEPORT, LA - A Caddo Parish deputy is facing serious charges today. Caddo Parish Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. has announced that a deputy is accused of having inappropriate contact with a jail inmate.

Caddo Sheriff Whitehorn has announced:

An ongoing investigation revealed Justin Harvey engaged in inappropriate contact with an inmate while serving in his role at the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office. Harvey has been employed with the department since October 2021.

Harvey was charged with one count of sexual battery and one count of malfeasance in office. Subsequently, he was booked into the Caddo Correctional Facility on the these charges.
