Caddo Commission Is Helping Flood Victims in Need

Thursday, the Caddo Commission amended an ordinance to aid flood victims. The original ordinance was to help victims of the 2015 Red River Flood. The commission amended the ordinance so victims of the floods that happened in March could get relief.

Commissioner Ken Epperson said they have 400 thousand dollars to help people that qualify for funds. To receive money, folks must go through the following process:

1) Go to Red Cross; receive assessment and voucher

2) Apply to FEMA

3) Go to Caddo Community Action Agency
