Caddo Correctional Center Booking Photos November 16th-22nd

Over 60 people were booked and kept at the Caddo Correctional Center November 16th-22nd.

One of the many booked this week include the suspect in Shreveport's latest murder.

On Sunday, November 17, 2024, at approximately 12:22 a.m., Shreveport Police officers and Shreveport Fire Department medics responded to reports of a shooting at 107 East Herndon Street. Upon arrival, officers located 37-year-old Lonnie Troquille in front of the residence.

There were also two Caddo Deputies who worked at CCC who were arrested and charged with using excessive force against an inmate. One of the suspects bonded out, but, as of this morning Preston Lee Eichelberger was still in custody at CCC.

Eichelberger was charged with two counts of aggravated battery and two counts of malfeasance in office. Steadman was charged with two counts of second-degree battery, and two counts of malfeasance in office. Subsequently, they were booked into the Caddo Correctional Facility on the aforementioned charges.

There are a variety of crimes on display in this week's booking photos, and Felony Firearm Possession was high on the list Shreveport Police Department along with Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office have been working tirelessly with the VCAT team to get guns out of the hands of felons and those who steal guns for nefarious purposes.

Authorities are getting results with the operation to get guns out of the wrong hands.
