Caddo Correctional Center Booking Photos August 23rd-29th

68 people were booked and kept in the Caddo Correctional Center this week for various crimes.

One of those booked was locked up for a Homicide that took place on Dalzell Street earlier this month.

The Shreveport Police have made an arrest in connection with a murder that happened on Dalzell Street earlier this month.

When SPD arrived at the scene of the crime, they found SherPatrick Washington dead from several gunshot wounds. After weeks of investigation, Detectives with Shreveport Police's Violent Crimes Unit were able to identify Dion Randle as the suspect in this homicide.

Randle was arrested and charged with second-degree homicide, and is in jail awaiting trial.

Another man was booked on felony gun charges.

On Monday evening, SPD Patrol Officers made a traffic stop on I-20 near Monkhouse Drive for several traffic violations. Officers made contact with the driver, Willie Gosey and found that he had several warrants out for his arrest. A quick search turned-up a gun in Gosey's possession.

Gosey is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to previous felony convictions, including burglary and a prior conviction for felon in possession of a firearm in 2022. Gosey was taken into custody and charged with the following:

· Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

· Possession of Schedule II narcotics

· Illegal carrying of a weapon while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance

· Multiple traffic offenses
