Girl Scout Cookie History

From girlscouts.org, the history of Girl Scout cookies goes all the way back to 1917, when the Mistletoe Troop in Muskogee, Oklahoma baked cookies and sold them in its high school cafeteria as a service project.  Cookie sales went national throughout the 20's when Girl Scouts across the country baked cookies with help from their moms and the community, packed them in waxed paper bags, and sold them for 25-35 cents per dozen.

New for 2023

In addition to their long-time standards like Thin Mints, Trefoils, and Tagalongs, they are introducing a new flavor for 2023.

Meet Raspberry Rally™, the thin, crispy cookie infused with raspberry flavor and dipped in chocolaty coating*. They may look like Thin Mints’® sister, but these cookies have a delicious taste that’s all their own. They're sure to become a new favorite.

If you're ready to enjoy the new flavor, as well as all of your favorites, Girl Scout Cookie Season is almost here.
