Caldwell was in the ArkLaTex meeting with a number of local business owners, giving them ideas on how to market themselves nationally - and even globally - to companies looking to expand or relocate. But one topic was conspicuously absent from Caldwell's list of Shreveport - Bossier's list of potential growth industries: LSU Health Shreveport School of Medicine and and Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport Hospital.

Those two facilities, for years having been highly touted as the key to the region's economic growth by area politicians and business leaders was totally ignored by a top executive whose job is to, as described on her company's website, "dedicated herself to assisting corporations with their location strategy – where and how to deploy their assets around the world."

The question is...why?
