New Crawfish Festival Heads to Louisiana Downs this Saturday
If you love spicy, juicy crawfish, you're going to love what's happening at Louisiana Downs in Bossier City this weekend! Think of it like a warm-up for the annual Mudbug Madness festival, the unofficial end to crawfish season each year that happens in downtown Shreveport's Festival Plaza over Memorial Day weekend.
What's the scoop on this new crawfish festival at Louisiana Downs?
The Bugs and Brews Festival is back (it used to be held in south Shreveport) and now it's Bossier City's first-ever crawfish festival! Gather up your friends and family and join in the fun at Louisiana Downs this Saturday, April 15th, 2023, from 11 am - 10 pm. $5 gets you into the party and you'll enjoy live music, get to browse plenty of vendors, and check out a cornhole tournament. Plus, organizers say they have all of the crawfish and beer you could possibly consume.
Music Line-up:
11:00 - 12:40 Tree Fiddy Trio
acoustic reggae
1:00 - 2:40 Katrice Lacour
Louisiana's best Zydeco
3:00 - 3:45 2nd Line Brass Band

4:00 - 5:45 Pocket Change

6:00 - 7:40 Monty Russell

8:00 - 10:00 Micky & The Motorcars

I don't know about you, but a day at the races with Louisiana Down's legendary hospitality, live music, beer, and crawfish is right up my alley! Hope to see you there!
