Recently, Citizen's National Bank pledged $250,000 to Bossier Parish Community College, and Monday, Citizen's presented the first payment of $25,000.

According to a press release from BPCC:

Citizens National Bank President Woody Schick presented Dr. Rick Bateman with a $25,000 donation. The gift was payment toward Citizen's pledge of $250,000 to the school's Capital Campaign.

“The significant effort BPCC makes toward training and educating individuals and allowing them opportunities for a better future makes our commitment to BPCC an easy decision,” says Woody Schick, president/CEO of Citizens National Bank.

The donation will be used to support a range of services including student success initiatives, athletic support, and the Citizens N.A/John R. McConathy Scholarship Fund for business majors.

“Our business students and student-athletes will significantly benefit from this generous gift,” says BPCC Chancellor Dr. Rick Bateman, Jr. “With corporate partners like Citizens National Bank who believe in the mission of providing quality education here in Northwest Louisiana, BPCC will continue to make an impact in this community and beyond.”
