Some frightening moments in south Bossier this morning. A school bus was involved in a wreck on Sligo Road at Highway 157 early this morning.

Bossier Parish school spokeswoman Sonja Bailes tells KEEL News:

"We are told that a dump truck heading north on Sligo Road pulled onto Hwy 157 and hit the side of bus 164." That bus had 5 Haughton Middle and 3 Haughton High students on board. Bailes says those students "received bumps and bruises, but thankfully their injuries were minor and have been released to their guardians."

But the dump truck "also hit a personal vehicle with a parent and a Haughton Middle and Haughton student. The parent and one of those children were transported."

State Police and the Bossier Sheriff's Department have been on the scene to investigate this crash.
