Randy Brown, publisher of the Bossier Press Tribune, talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the specifics in the controversy involving the Airline High School student paper and a decision not to publish a photo with a Christmas ornament with the words, "I love Jesus."

Brown explains how the most recent issue of the student newspaper is completely blank. He tells KEEL listeners that his paper prints the paper for the school, but he got a call to "stop the presses" from the Airline HS faculty advisor. The advisor then explained how a photo of the ornament could be construed to be unconstitutional.

The Bossier Parish School Board has been involved in a longstanding legal feud over religious activities in schools. The Parish's legal team keeps a close eye on what's happening to avoid any possible lawsuits in the future.
