Bossier City Man Sentenced for Counterfeiting
Some "funny money" lands a Bossier City man in federal prison.
Shreveport Federal Judge Donald Walter has sentenced 23-year-old Corey Crosby to 18 months in prison for making and selling counterfeit Federal Reserve Notes. He pled guilty back in February.
Federal prosecutors say Crosby was making and selling the counterfeit money and uncut sheets of counterfeit money in denominations of $10, $20, and $100. He was also convicted on state forgery charges in Caddo Parish in November of 2012.
