Bossier City Man Arrested for Aggravated Incest

A Bossier City man has been arrested for aggravated incest. A family friend contacted the school resource officer at Airline High School and said 37-year-old Christopher Hammett had possibly molested two of his family members. The officer referred the case to a Bossier sheriff's investigator, who says Hammett has admitted to inappropriately touching one of his then-14-year-old female family members beginning in 2008...and that he did it about 50 times. He also admitted that he wrote a letter to another family member -- a female who is now 15 years old -- asking her to have sex with him. Both girls were interviewed at the Gingerbread House. Hammett is charged with aggravated incest, molesting a juvenile and indecent behavior with a juvenile.
