
Bossier City Firefighters Battle Extended Stay Hotel Fire
The Bossier City Fire Department received a call of heavy smoke coming from a building at 1001 Gould Blvd. at the Extended Stay Hotel. The call came from a driver who was passing by at 7:08 a.m.
Fire Units arrived on scene at 7:12 a.m. and reported “ heavy smoke visible.” After an initial attack it was determined that there were one building fully involved. There were eight units that received fire, smoke or water damage by the fire.
The Bossier City Fire Department did a great job preventing the fire from spreading or involving any of the near by exposures.
The fire was reported under control at 8:29 a.m. there were no reports of injuries to citizens or firefighters during this fire. Fire Prevention Officers were on the scene and this fire is still under investigation at this time.
