The Bossier City Fire Department received a call of heavy smoke coming from a building at 1001 Gould Blvd.

There were some scary moments for guests this afternoon, when a Bossier City hotel caught fire.

More details have been released about this afternoon's fire at the Holiday Inn in downtown Shreveport.

A fire at an extended stay hotel in the 5000 block of Hollywood Avenue was quickly extinguished.
