As of today, All-Star weekend has officially kicked off in Arlington, Texas. Today is the HBCU Swingman All-Star game. Tomorrow kicks off the first round of the MLB Draft and the Celebrity All-Star tournament. There's tons going on.

However, the one All-Star event that everyone is looking forward to is the Home Run Derby. The Derby is one of the most anticipated and watched events every year during the All-Star Break.

And this year's line up is STACKED. You got veterans like Pete Alonso in there. You got a Texas Ranger competing in Adolis Garcia. You got some young guns like Gunnar Henderson competing in their first Derby. There's lots to be excited about.

However, there's one Texas Native in the line-up that's arguably the fan favorite to win - Bobby Witt Jr.

Texas Home Run Derby Odds

The betting odds are always subject to change. But, looking at the current lines, is pretty eye opening. Currently, two time Home Run Derby champion Pete Alonso is favorited to win. Adolis Garcia, who is competing in his home ball park, comes in second.

But, arguably, one of the biggest fan favorites to win is Bobby Witt Jr. Junior is a second generation player Colleyville Texas. His dad, Bobby Witt, was a pitcher for the Texas Rangers. He's having a phenomenal year with Royals. And, one top of all the local ties, kid has some pop in his bat. He's got 15 home runs this year and 65 total so far in his brief 3 year career. Plus, back in 2018, he won the High School Home Run Derby held at Nationals Park. So, he's got some experience in Derbys, even if this is his first at the Major League level.

According to SportsBetting.ag, here's the current betting odds for the Home Run Derby:

Pete Alonso                  3/1

Adolis Garcia                 4/1

Marcell Ozuna              4/1

Gunnar Henderson        6/1

Bobby Witt Jr.               7/1

Jose Ramirez                 10/1

Teoscar Hernandez       12/1

Alec Bohm                    16/1
