Watch Gov. Jindal on ‘Duck Dynasty’ Season 6 Premiere Tonight
A&E's popular show "Duck Dynasty" begins its sixth season tonight (June 11), and a special guest is paying The Robertson family a visit: Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal.
Jindal praised the show and says he sees it as essentially a commercial for Louisiana.
"We are open for business and I hope the millions of Americans that watch this show each week will see that Louisiana is a great place for them to come visit, raise a family and start a business," said Jindal [quote via Louisiana Radio Network].
But how will be presented on the show? He doesn't know. But one person does.
"Willie [Robertson] actually told me he's already seen tonight's episode and that it's going to be a good one," said Jindal.
This isn't the first time we've seen Jindal's name associated with the West Monroe, La.-based family.
In December 2013, Jindal went to bat for The Robertsons after anti-gay comments made by patriarch Phil Robertson made national headlines and led to his suspension from the show.
Jindal criticized the "politically correct crowd" for their reaction to Robertson's remarks, and called the family "great citizens of the State of Louisiana."
Duck Dynasty season six premieres tonight (June 11) at 9 p.m. on A&E.
