Bloody Brawl Breaks out at Cowboys Jets Game
It wasn't just the Cowboys and Jets going after it at AT&T Stadium during the game on Sunday. While Haughton's Dak Prescott led the 'Boys to a 30-10 victory over the Jets on the field... in the stands it was hard to tell who had the upper hand.
Speaking of Prescott, he completed 81.6 percent of his passes for 255 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions for a 112.2 passer rating... Not a bad night for the former Haughton Buccaneer. CeeDee Lamb was his primary target, tying a personal best with 11 catches for 143 yards.
You can see in the video people having to pull some combatants off the floor... the bloodied Jets fan appeared to even be laughing... while the guy in the Prescott jersey seemed to be a little wavery on his feet. Wait, is that a word? Wavery?
There also appears to be someone else chloroforming another bloody Jets fan with a handkerchief or napkin. I'm sure he's trying to help him, but he looks kinda suspect.
But, despite the extra-curricular activities in the stands, or concourse, the Cowboys had a really good night. Micah Parsons again dominated the line with two sacks, four quarterback hits, two tackles for loss, a forced fumble and fumble recovery. He also logged a pass defensed. Overall, the Cowboys ended up with four takeaways on the day while allowing the Jets to convert just 1 of 10 third-down attempts. Because the defense was able to regularly get off the field, Dallas held the time of possession by a remarkable 42:15 to 17:45.
