Great Dining Options for People Visiting Shreveport
We will have thousands of visitors in Shreveport and Bossier over the next few weeks. Many will be coming for the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl. Others will be coming for a visit with relatives over the holidays.
You will probably welcome family and friends with a home cooked meal with the turkey and all the sides. But during your visits with family, you might want to take them out for a nice dinner at one of the best restaurants in Shreveport Bossier.
What Are Some of the Big Events Coming Up?
Of course, the Independence Bowl is coming up on December 23. We will have guests in town from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the University of Houston. We also are one of the hottest destinations for the Holiday Trail of Lights. Lots of guests will travel here to check out our Christmas events including the American Rose Center and the Lighted Texas Street Bridge.
If you will have guests in town from other states, they might want to check out some of our amazing food. I know I have left some great spots off the list. Herby K's is always a great go-to for the Shrimp Buster or amazing gumbo. Marilynn's Place on Fern Avenue will always have some great Louisiana dishes. The Cajun Asian restaurant also serves up some great dishes that will delight your guest.
But we picked some of our favorite spots to take the family if you want a great dining experience this year.
But, remember, if you want to land a table at one of Shreveport Bossier's finest dining spots during the holiday season, you might want to get a reservation now.
