It's going to be a busy weekend for sure in Shreveport-Bossier. One event you might want to attend is The Bossier City Fire Department's annual Fire Safety Show.

It's set for 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, October 1, at the Home Depot at 2800 Airline Drive. The fire department puts this on every year as part of the Home Depot's Safety Day.

Everyone's invited to meet with Bossier City firefighters and get a close-up look at a variety of fire department vehicles that will be on display in the Home Depot parking lot.

The Emergency Medical Services Division will also be onhand offering free basic health screenings, and the BCFD's Fire Safety Smoke House will be there to teach kids home fire safety and fire escape skills.
