Bossier City police say a dangerous suspect is off the streets -- now that 39-year-old Gerald Cortez Needham is behind bars. City spokesman Mark Natale says Needham was wanted for three counts of first-degree murder in connection with last week's shooting deaths of local appliance store owner Bill Norris and two other men. He says police arrested Needham just after 6 last evening, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal's Violent Fugitive Task Force. He says Needham's residence in the 1400 block of Cynthia Lane was searched, and police recovered a number of items there. Needham's bond is set at $3-million. Natale says the police investigation is by no means over...and additional arrests aren't being ruled out at the moment.
