Two Teens Arrested for Shreveport’s Latest Homicide
Shreveport Police Department (SPD) officers were dispatched to the intersection of Jewella Avenue and Peyton Street in response to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to Ochsner Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
SPD investigators worked diligently to gather evidence and form probable cause to arrest two juvenile suspects in connection with the incident. Both suspects, a 15-year-old and 17-year-old Onterio Robinson, were taken into custody by SPD Violent Crimes detectives and have each been charged with one count of second-degree murder.
The Shreveport Police Department extends its condolences to the family of the young victim. This tragic loss underscores the importance of ongoing efforts to address violence in our community.
