Arrest Made in Bossier Hotel Shooting
Bossier Police received a call about a disturbance at the Economy Inn Hotel at 9:25p.m Wednesday night (6/16/21). The disturbance was a dispute between two people staying in separate rooms.
Bossier Police say that one of the people involved in the dispute was shot in the arm and was taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.
After an investigation Bossier Police were able to arrest the suspect. Forty eight year old Jason Empfield was arrested for aggravated second degree battery and obstruction of justice.
