Video has now surfaced of a Black man in Rochester, New York being abused by police officers. That man, Daniel Prude, later died from "complications of asphyxia in the setting of physical restraint, excited delirium and acute PCP intoxication" according to the coroner.

The family of Prude intends to file a wrongful death lawsuit against the City of Rochester.
The disturbing video shows officers actually laughing at the naked and handcuffed man after they put a mesh bag over his head. He is then forced into the ground and stops breathing.

Reports indicated the 41-year-old Prude was left brain dead and died a week later.

The medical examiner has ruled the death a homicide.

The deadly police encounter happened on March 23 when officers were called by Prude's brother. Protestors clashed with officers last night after this video was released. Officers used pepper spray to disperse the crowd outside of the police HQ.
