All 3 Abortion Clinics Pulling Out of Louisiana

For the first time in 50 years, there will be no abortion clinics in the state of Louisiana. This is claimed as answered prayer to some, a nightmare for abortion activists. Hope Medical clinic in Shreveport announced Tuesday that they will relocate to another 'abortion friendly' state after the recent denial of their appeal challenging Louisiana's trigger laws.

KTBS reported Tuesday evening Hope Medical, and the other two abortion clinics in Louisiana, Women's Health Center in New Orleans, and Delta Clinic of Baton Rouge, both of which have the same owner, also plan to relocate outside of Louisiana.

This follows the latest decision by the Louisiana State Supreme Court ordering Baton Rouge State District Judge Donald Johnson to reverse his ban on trigger laws, that he issued late July.

Abortion is illegal in the state of Louisiana, (as decided by the voters of Louisiana), but there are still several options for women with unplanned, or unwanted pregnancies.
