A Shreveport man suspected of breaking into several parked vehicles has been arrested. Bossier City police say 32-year-old Kevin Lloyd Johnson of Shreveport is charged with six counts of simple burglary in connection with break-ins in a parking lot along Arthur Ray Teague Parkway.

He was arrested by detectives with the BCPD Property Crimes Unit after a successful surveillance operation. It focused on the parking lot at Scenic Outlook #1, across from the CenturyLink Center, due to several vehicles being burglarized there since mid-December. Detectives say Johnson appeared to be casing a vehicle at that location just before his arrest.
