The incident happened on June 19th just before midnight. 24-year-old Terrence Roquemore of Deberry, Texas stripped down to his birthday suit and went on a chair-tossing rampage on the boat.

At the time, he was charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault on a police officer, battery of a police officer, resisting an officer with force, disturbing the peace by being drunk and obscenity. He was immediately taken to a local hospital for observation before he was booked into the jail.

What is the status of the case? It has been resolved. Roquemore initially pled not guilty to all the charges. But he changed his mind and agreed to sign off on a plea agreement with the District Attorneys office. Roquemore pled guilty to battery of a police officer which resulted in the officer needing medical treatment. The District Attorney agreed to nol-pross (essentially, not to prosecute) the other counts against Roquemore. A jail sentence was deferred and he was placed on 2 years of supervised probation and a fine of $250 dollars. He was also ordered to pay officer Kenneth Johnson $1,000 in restitution and $1,000 to officer Jason Lowe.  Roquemore also had to submit to treatment at healthcare program in Longview, Texas.

We do not know if he has paid any of the money to the officers.

The two police officers suffered minor injuries -- one to the wrist and the other to the knee. One casino patron was taken to the hospital after some of the chemical spray used by police affected her.
