The Barksdale Air Force Base 2013 Defenders of Liberty Air Show has been cancelled. The event was scheduled for May 4th and 5th, but the Air Force says sequestration cuts force this event to be cancelled.

Bossier City firefighters have an extra mission at the Barksdale Air Show this weekend. They'll be out asking folks attending the show to join them in the fight against neuromuscular disease. It's their annual "Fill the Boot" campaign to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association
