Woman Arrested After Shooting Incident in Shreveport
SHREVEPORT, LA- Woman Arrested in Shooting Incident
In the early hours of January 4, 2025, Shreveport Police Department officers responded to a report of shots fired at 4621 6L Westwood Park Drive at approximately 3:38 AM. While en route, officers received a description of the suspect, which enabled a responding SPD K-9 unit to quickly locate and apprehend the shooter without incident.
The investigation revealed that the incident began when two women arrived at the residence searching for a male allegedly involved in a romantic situation with one of them. During the confrontation, Savannah Daniels armed herself with a firearm and fired multiple shots at the residence.
Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. Daniels was arrested at the scene and charged with one count of Illegal Use of a Weapon.
This successful resolution highlights the outstanding work and swift response by Shreveport Police Department officers and the K-9 unit.
