Shreveport police officers making a welfare check early this morning made quite a find. Sergeant Bill Goodin says police had received a call that there was an elderly woman in a house in the 78-hundred block of Woodfield and that there was a lot of drug activity going on there.

But Goodin says, when the officers arrived, they also spotted a number of chemicals used in the manufacture of methamphetime. They arrested 31-year-old Randy Kelly, who lives at that same address. He's been booked on a charge of possessing a clandestine lab and Goodin says he also had some outstanding city warrants.
