Shreveport Police are requesting the public's help in identifying a suspect believed to be responsible for  thefts at Walmart on Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.

According to SPD, the thefts happened on two separate occasions in June and July, both involving the same offender. In each case, the suspect entered the store, selected merchandise, proceeded to the self-checkout area, and pretended to check-out before leaving the business without paying. The total loss to the store is nearly $1,000.

The thefts were reported by Walmart Asset Protection, and detectives believe the suspect may be involved in additional thefts in the area.

Suspect Description:

-White male

-Possibly still has bleached blond hair

-Bumblebee tattoo on the left wrist

-Tattoo of the letter “K”

-Heart tattoo on the left middle finger

UPDATE: Andrew James Harvey was arrested by Shreveport Police after being identified.

Further investigation revealed Harvey has two prior theft convictions. As a result, a warrant has been submitted for one count of Habitual Theft related to the Shreveport incidents.
